I work, as a believer, since 1994, electing human body as the major referent, researching degeneration and subworlds, with the theme and variations about "Parede" (On Old Age) as the starting point about human relations and its natural cruelty...
The main purpose on my actual painting projects relies in the "Forbidden Image", concerning public and private issues on this area. This project also includes obtaining a PhD degree by project - starting September 2006, in UBI, under orientation of Jorge Bacelar.
Usually touched by GLBT pressure groups and also by ideological agenda settings, this project is structured by its scientific curiosity and the quest about its dramas and material culture.
It is a sinuous way to draw a frontier between the social acceptable territories and those considered interdict...
